Basic Leadership Training is the initial step for a cadet to advance within the program. B.L.T. instills in cadets the core ideas of discipline, teamwork, honor, courage, and commitment, as well as offering insight into the sacrifices made by U.S. servicemembers. Cadets will be briefed extensively in class in order to prepare.
